How best to introduce cats

Thread Starter
I'm in the process of movingto another state. My husband is already there in our new place. A relative is staying there too and she has one cat that has not had any contact with other cats since he was a kitten. Tomorrow my husband is bringing three of our cats with him and I'm a bit worried about how it will work with Jack, the relative's cat. (Not to mention how worried I am about the hubby taking care of the cats by himself)
I was hoping that someone here could give me some suggestions about how to best introduce the cats to each other. This has been Jack's house for a while and now it's going to be invaded by three strange cats. My cats are used to meeting new cats and do fine with it but now that they're in a new house that may be different. So, what should the hubby do to introduce all the cats to each other and get them to co-exist peacefully from here on? Tips and advice would be very appreciated.

Thanks

wow, good luck!! I can imagine how stressful this could be for you... will you be joining your husband soon?

here is a good thread (with a link in the first post) that has some great suggestions. Give it a read and hopefully it will give you some ideas

my advise is to take it slow!! good luck
