All of mine were outside cats when I got them and they have transitioned whether they like it or not to being completely indoor. After having to bury quite a few of my moms farm cats and 2 of my own beloved babies I cant let them outside. I do have an outside cat whom Ive been claimed to protect but I dont feel the attachment to him that I do my own cats. I still feed him and give him shelter in the winter but I havent named him out of fear of having to bury him because we do live next to a road. If it ever becomes a possibility and I get the money Im going to get outside cat fixed and hopefully someday make him an inside kitty, or atleast have him be a nuetered outside cat. If he stays outside though he will forever be outside cat, if he comes inside he will be given a 'real' name.
