Waving hello

Hi everyone. Been perusing the site off and on for a few months and decided to jump in.

I live in So CA and we have one cat, our girl Izzy. She has been with us for one year this month. We adopted her out of our local shelter last year and she had been in there close to a year. I dont get it, she is such a wonderful girl, guess she was waiting for us.

Prior to adopting her I would have NEVER said I was a cat person. Nope. My mom had a rather mean cat who would hiss and chase you when you walked in the door. Anyway, I was out w/a friend one day on my lunch hour and she said oh I have to run into Petsmart really quick. That is when I spotted her. 4 days later she was ours. Can you believe it? She has been a blessing for my son and I and completely changed our lives. I would love another but when we adopted her, we were told she needs to be the only cat in the home.

Anyway, glad to have found this forum.

I'm glad you've found us, too. Welcome to TCS! I think you'll find many people of like mind here, so make yourself at home. Don't forget to drop in to the Fur Pictures forum and share some pics of your sweetheart.

You and Izzy were obviously meant to be! Glad you could be converted. This really is a great place and I love it! Looking forward to getting to know you and Izzy more.
