Back in January I was stressed about the difficulty of dosing my feral born cat with an eyedropper. I couldn't catch him, I couldn't hold onto him, he cried, he squirmed, he scratched. We were miserable.

Now look at him today.

I should add that Sasha has been taking this med out of a syringe at least every other day since January.

He has been getting Prednisone. It tastes like tuna. He still fought with all his might when we started with it. He has principles you know.

That's too funny! When I had to worm my guys, a couple of them really liked the vanilla taste of the Strongid T.

Our little foster Emily loved the taste of one of the medicines we gave her. Never fussed about it at all.

My goodness, that's amazing - what a good kitty - and what a great family he has!

When Abbey was tiny she had no "cat principles", she lapped up her amoxycillin! Then when she was older and on it again she decided it wasn't dignified for a cat to cooperate, so she fights it now.

After fighting him, then ranting about it in this forum. I took advice and started the cross legged while scruffing method. It just kept getting easier. Eventually I didn't need to corral him between my legs. Then scruff with no squirming. Then he finally started jumping up on his stool and begging for it.

These are the things that make us believe that we just couldn't do without him. He is so entertaining.

That video is great!!

I had a litter of orphaned kittens that I fed with a syringe. They sucked the milk down just like your guy does his medicine. Thanks for the flashback moment!
