Morning all!

It's supposed to be another gorgeous day here as well!
I actually took a vacation day to try and recover from this wretched cold.
I didn't sleep very well last night at all!

I'm also a little down today.
I found out yesterday that the 16 year old daughter of a woman I work with commited suicide Wednesday. So INCREDIBLY sad. The woman I work with is a sweetheart, and I can't even imagine what she must be going through. As well on Wednesday, a friend of my brother's jumped off the Reversing Falls bridge, also committing suicide. He was only 23! So many young people taking their lives, it just breaks my heart.

On a more positive note I'm going to try my best to enjoy the weekend. It is supposed to be beautiful tomorrow as well so I hope to get out and do some walking. Take care everyone.

One of my nephews has a funeral of one of his high school friends to attend today. Not sure of the details but it was an unexpected death.

Well its foggy again and will remain so until the snow is gone from the ground. Good news is that the temps are to reach 50F by sunday and remain in the 50's for most of next week.
But I hope customers do not decide to call early as I will have no free time plus I haven't even written my annual spring letter yet!

Working 10:30 to 2:30 pm today as parents are coming this afternoon for the weekend.
Going out for friday fish fry tonite, Neil to do taxes with mom tomorrow and dad can come on errands with me.

Better finish cleaning the house.................

Oh Kailie, that's so sad.....how is your friend? And your brother? How tragic that is.

It's raining here now and it's to continue to rain and shower until sometime next Monday. But that's OK...it's rain, not snow. Not that we really need the rain right now.

I have to make homemade ravioli tonight. My in-laws are coming for dinner tomorrow and they have requested my ravioli. I was going to make it earlier this week and throw it in the freezer, but didn't it done, so I have to do it tonight. Will make both a cheese filling and a spinach filling; since my pasta sauce will have meat in it, no need for a meat filling. I'm also making fondue bread (with lots of Muenster cheese), my floret coleslaw and a white cake with my whipped peanut butter frosting. Sunday is my FIL's birthday and he loves peanut butter.

So that's my weekend. Cooking and cleaning. And some laundry thrown in for good measure.

Enjoy your Friday! (It's Friday, oh, it's Friday! And I'm wearing jeans at work! *Happy Dance*)

Not anymore than anywhere else I wouldn't think.
It's at least not something we hear of often anyway.

I haven't heard much about how my friend at work is. I just found out about it last night and I am off today, but from all of the posts on Facebook, needless to say she must be just devestated. It was her only child.

As for my brother, he and I are IMing now. He's in shock, sad, etc. Like me, he is so saddened that these young people where pushed to take such extreme measures. It just goes to show, never take ANYONE for granted, and although at the time it might not seem like much, try to go out of your way to make someone's day. You never know when it might make all the difference in the world.

It is truly sad to hear of those deaths. That poor woman! Her only child....its horrible. I hope your brother can get some support. Suicide is difficult to cope with because you always wonder what you could have done differently.

I am still sick with whatever this is, cold or something...blah, blah, blah.
So I made an appt Monday for acupuncture. My body system is completely off balance and its the only thing that helps. I
acupuncture! It makes me feel sooo good. Especially with my chronic pain issues...so needless to say I am sooooo looking forward to Monday, of all the days.

How excited are we to get an extra hour of daylight! Woo-Hoo!!
I am so happy it is earlier this year than previous years.

Happy Friday folks!!

P.S.- Hot Yoga is awesome!
