Thank you for making my evening. The reason is because this cat looks like Ashlie, a family cat from decades ago

Thank you

OMG, I am in LOVE with Neko. I love her, I love her name, and I am jealous that you get to take her out on a leash.
What a beauty!!!!

How hard was it to get Neko used to the H harness? I am thinking that a couple of my boys might like to go for little walks. Most of them are too timid i think

Thank you for all the wonderful comments!
I started harness training when she was around 5mths. I heard it was easier to teach when their kittens. I followed the guidelines... put the harness on her indoors and let her get use to the feeling. She would constantly rub against our leg or fall to the ground b/c she wanted it off. Once i noticed that she would walk around with it, 3-4 weeks of having it on and off, I put the leash on it. She hated the leash, falling to the ground all over again. I tried this for about a week and although she never got 100% use to the leash I took her out for her first walk! She loved it and forgot all about the leash. I let her lead, which was 1ft. every 5min
but thats okay with me. So now she relates the harness and leash with outdoors. As soon as its on she walks right up to the door!
