Question Of The Day - Wednesday March 10th!

Good morning! It's supposed to be a gorgeous day here....and I don't have to be at work until 5 pm, for a staff meeting....So I get to enjoy it!!!



Here's today's Question Of The Day.


When you get on the computer for the first time of the day, do you have a routine? Where do you go first, next, next?


TCS is my homepage, so I immediately come here and check things out. I first go to Cat health, then come to The Cat Lounge. After I've checked out TCS, I usually check my e-mail, go read my daily favorite comics, and finally, head off to a couple of news sites. If the weather is bad, I go to the National Weather Service site before I go to work.

i load up the same 3 pages in this order.... TCS....facebook.....hotmail....

I load up view new posts on here read all the titles then go back through and see which ones i might be able to offer comment, then i load my farm up on FB as thats loading check my emails thats about it really

I usually check my email first thing, my browser opens in speed dial format so I check the weather there and only click if there is a red weather warning, if I am going into the office I check the train service updates and if not and I have time, the forums and blogs I read regularly. If not they wait until later in the day

Tcs. twitter, facebook, hotmail daily as a ritual... ...& very seldom Yahoo & Gmail...

I check my email first, then go to Huffington Post and The Daily Beast. I go to another cat board (sorry), my cooking board, and then I usually come here. During the week when I'm working, I don't come here until I get to work.

I'm a mod on a news/political forum, too, so sometimes I'll hit that right after checking my email in the morning.

gmail, yahoo mail (plentyoffish.com if I have any messages waiting), facebook, TCS and then another board I frequent, then WoW until work (or school on Wednesdays).

I check my AOL e-mail, then go to a NY Mets message board that I've been on for years - it's not just Mets - they have a few general forums, then I come here.

When I get my new computer and DSL hookup (I still have dial-up), I'll be adding Facebook to the routine. I have a page, but I can't do anything on Facebook with dial-up and this old computer which desperately needs upgrading.

Same routine 99% of the time---
check the email
TCS
ebay

I always check my email first, then TCS, and then Facebook.

Email first, then either blogs on Google reader, Facebook, local news & CNN, here

First I go to theanimalrescuesite.com, and click on all of the tabs, then freekibble.com, then I check my email and look for work.

1. Check my primary email.
2. Check my Yahoo email.
3. Go to Freekibble and then to Animal Rescue and do my clicks on both.
4. Come to TCS.
5. Go to my other cat board.
6. Go to my baseball board.
7. Back to emails to reply to anyone I need too and that is full circle

Same routine here. If time is short, FB waits until evening.

I sign into personal e-mail then work e-mail, then TCS, Facebook, MSN and Zenhabits.

Yep, I have a routine when I first g on my laptop. I always check my emails,then ebay,then The sun to see whats in the news and then I spend most of the rest of the night on here x

First e-mail, then E-Bay, then here. Sometimes I look online at obituaries

Yahoo is my homepage but I rarely check my email on the comp since it gets sent directly to my phone. IF I do get on the comp the first thing I do is load TCS sometimes check the Bravo blogs since I dont have TV and then generally leave my phone hooked up to the comp for the day so noone can get ahold of me and I can hibernate and work on my projects in peace and quiet. Sometimes I just get sick of hearing my phone go off!

Another one here. Facebook....TCS....Craigslist. I usually switch back and forth between each of them, as I'm doing now. I have a Blackberry and get my email on there so I rarely ever check it on the computer anymore.
