Nur is a 2 months and few weeks old traditional doll faced persian and we feed him only kitten dry food because that is what he used to eat before we adopt him-it's been 2 weeks he's staying with us and maybe time for wet or cooked food but what if the change upsets his stomach?

Kittens should get (IMO) wet food, what brand food does he get now?

Any change in food should be done slowly, gradually increasing the new food and decreasing the old but I find kittens can add wet to dry without issue most of the time

Exactly

Only do homemade with the guidance of a qualified vet or nutritionist

Neko loves the Purina Pro Plan Selects wet food. There's only one flavor for kittens, but she doesn't get tired of it. Mmm-mmm good! Welcome

I think that as long as he is doing well on the current food he is eating there is no need to change it. I say stick with what works. I tried my cats on wet food for a while but they actually seem to do better on dry.

Just make sure he has constant access to water. Cats fed dry food only need more water.

to the highlight ... Evan the vet associations disagree with this ... they started recommending adding wet food into the diet about 10 years ago ... Yes a cat on all dry NEED s to drink more but how they are designed often they do not ...

Yes stick with what works but with kittens it is best to try slowly to get them into a wet /dry eating habit..
