Well, like I've said earlier this litter is a Devon Sphynx cross. I am ALWAYS with the moms as they deliver. I just HAVE to be there. There are so many things that can go wrong, and I'd not know what to do if I lost the mom due to a hemorhage issue. I am always on the lookout for adverse events during birth.

I know cats can have babies all on their own. But I know too much about what can go wrong when you're absent. I've heard horror stories. I just don't want to play any part in that scenario.

I am a mother hen when it comes to this.

My mommy to be is about done baking her buns too, LOL. time to get them out of the oven, but she is still holding on to them lol.

Ok, everyone! Update! Nothing in regards to actual babies, but she is acting weird. She keeps trilling, calling Monty to the back porch where I have to cat carriers (soft sided) and the cats love to sleep in them. She keeps calling him to follow her in to one, he'll go but leave right away. Then she follows him down the hall to see where he's going and then it all starts again. Soooooo, I'm thinking tonight might be the night. She is just acting weird, but just with Monty. I don't know what to make of it really, just noticed her different behaviour.

You guys will be the first to know when they come. Camera is charged and ready!

The anticipation is killing me. I know they're in there, they just want to torment me.

Ok guys, the wait is over!!!! She has only given birth to one so far, quite a large one too. As far as I've been able to tell, it's a girl, white and brown van. Oreo is not allowing much interference from me, so I won't know more until she has the rest.

I only have a few minutes to post as she's just up there cleaning her first baby up. Baby is trying to find a boob at the moment, Oreo is resting.

I think I'll be up for a while, but will post pics as soon as it's all over. I am so excited!!!! I thought the first one was full sphynx, but alas it has a little bit of fur. Not a full devon coat, but little waves and not a lot of it.

Another one just born, almost NO hair, all white I think. Don't really know if sphynx can be born with a tiny bit and it will fall out or what, but I guess I'll find out won't I?

Oreo still has at least one more that I can feel inside. Going back up!!!

OK, number three just arrived. A tuxedo just like Mom. Another with very very little hair. I guess I'll see what happens!! first born was 104g and the second and third were both 110g. Not sure if there is another or not, she is just laying down with babies and purring. They still haven't successfully found boobies, but I know they will

Ok, it's 2:20 am and I'm about to pass out LOL.
