Hello everybody,
I really could do with your help or advice regarding the following problem with our 14 month old Female cat.
Approx 4 days ago we noticed she was very quiet and when she eats she licks her mouth and gipps as if something is stuck in her throat.
(she still has a healthy appetite).
She has just got back from the vets after a full day of tests which included: x-rays / sedation and mouth & throat examination / blood tests ect.
The vet can't find anything wrong with her throat and didn't see anything on the x-rays.
The only small problems they found were tiny increase in white blood cells and very slight swelling of the glands under her chin.
He gave her an anti-inflammatory shot and we have to give her worming tablets in a couple of days.
Regardless of what the vet said I'm not convinced it may get better over time.
He said we have to monitor her over the next couple of days and if we're still concerned we should bring her back to the vets where he will refer her to a local specialist.
if anyone could throw any light on the subject I'd be extremely grateful.
Jonathan
