My cats have been together since August, when Brillo came to live with us after the loss of her sister, Sheba. While there has never been outright violence, there has been a fair amount of posturing between my 3 cats, especially the 2 wires, who are full siblings, but from 2 different litters. Today I was able to catch some typical "negotiating."
Ziggy and Brillo finally decided they can share the windowsill to watch squirrels and birds on this cloudy, wet day (I can't believe the size difference in the two of them!):
Uh oh, what's that noise?
Oh noooooo, it's FELIX!
Well, boy's, I am OUTTA HERE!
Felix says, "Nice, day, huh? Don't know what HER problem is!"
I might add that a few minutes later, I heard a spit and saw a blur as Ziggy'd had enough as well. Oh well, it's still progress (and former ferals still rule!)
