Excessive sneezing

My male cat, almost 1, has "sneezing fits" at least once a day. It almost seems like an asthma attack...the other day I counted 21 sneezes, rapid fire. He did have runny nose issues before, both times cleared up with an antibiotic.
Could this be an allergy? I've never had other cats with this problem.

You need to discuss this with your vet.. First thought is ask about feline herpes

Yeah, ask him to do a complete URI panel. If he does have a runny nose and cold symptoms sometimes, I would keep him on L-Lysine daily. It is an excellent kitty vitamin, strenghtening his immune system, but if he has herpes, these attacks will be kept at bay. It stops the Herpes virus on its tracks.
