I don't know about where you live, but if we don't pick up the food just after dusk, we're just feeding raccoons and skunks.

Yeah LDG I was concerned about that also at first but I was told we don't get them in the city, I haven't seen any yet and also people leave their trash bags outside the door and they don't get touched, so at the moment the only tummy being filled seems to be Walters although I will keep checking ,thanks for the heads up.

Yes, the only potential problem in a city would be other cats. We live in a really rural area.

Hi Tigerclaw update on Walter, haven't caught him yet, but this will make you laugh . So for the last two nights as you suggested, I have put treats on the top of his food to entice him some more as supposed to around his bowl which I was doing previously. I was thinking maybe he didn't notice them so he would be surprised at the nice treat I left for him , well Walter is a fussy little eater and doesn't like them so for the last two mornings I find the wet food all gone and next to his bowl are the exact number of treats I left out for him, the little rascal is taking them out and completely ignoring them, he is such a character.

Hi Krazy cat2, no real updates on Walter, I was hoping to take a photo of him last night, but as usual you can never plan with cats he was quite elusive last night and appeared to be scared of the cat toy I got for him, I don't think he liked the bell sounds, so I won't be using that tonight. I am hoping that if I make out like I am not bothered and just ignore him while he eats he will want to get closer, isn't that mad, Walter and I are playing mind games. I will update you on anything new that happens.
