A developmentally disabled girl murdered - how could this happen??

There is a whole list of articles about this atrocity. But my question is:
Why do we, as a society, throw away these "closet individuals" and then turn out in droves to hold candlelight vigils when they are murdered?? If only 1/10th of the people who care now, would have offered friendship & companionship to that poor girl, she most likely would have never taken a bus to try to have companionship among that nest of vipers/monsters. What she endured was as bad, if not worse, than the violent scenes in the movie "The Wolfman".
RIP, Jennifer, I am sure that our RB kitties are giving you so many purrs and headbutts over there across the Bridge, and now you are safe - they can't hurt you anymore, and your last prayers were answered - you did get to go "Home"
On a side note - the prosecutors are still considering whether to charge this as a death-penalty case

I just read thru most of the articles on that page. Im absolutely disgusted and I hope that the prosecution goes for the death penalty. All 6 of those people dont deserve to be breathing after what they did. Just because one person held the knife doesnt mean the others are innocent while they sat back and watched! This is one of those cases where I cant believe how horrible and disgusting some people really can be!

Those organisms have ripped up their human race membership cards. They're on the same level as rabid stray dogs...we have to shoot them, they're too dangerous.

Also, they have a carbon footprint. Let's prevent some global warming by taking them out of the world.

This turns my stomach everytime I see it on the news. How can people do this to someone???!! Her family is devastated adn these pieces of crap are still breathing. I hope they go for the death penalty.

Wow, I'm normally against the death penalty, being Catholic, but wow, if anyone deserves it these worthless pathetic individuals do. I feel bad for that poor baby, soon to be birthed by a monster.

I just cannot fathom how someone could take a life so nonchalantly. It's disgusting, and it's really frightening too.

What's even more disturbing is when it's a group and not one in the group feels or thinks: "This is wrong and vile and evil." I mean a pair of criminals is disturbing enough, though it's more common, but three or more... very very disturbing to me.
