Gemlady's photos of Ari in the "then and now" thread prompted this thread.
Who is on your computer desktop photo? I would be surprised if most of us don't have at least one of our furbabies featured...

This is my current one, though I tend to choose a new one every couple of months:

Trapped in the catroom! ;o)
I do have to admit most times I have my favorite picture of Franklin on my desktop background..or I flop between that one, a picture of me and my daughters, or a GORGEOUS picture of the sunset from the back of my house! I try and compensate other stuff for the fact that Ill spend HOURS on TCS jabbering about the cats but I dont belong to a forum to talk about Franklin LOL!

I just got my laptop back from the repair shop and so I have to reload my pics. Until I do I have a stock photo included with the OS.

But before that I had one of Ari in the window.

I do know that Topaz is/was on Yosemite's computer for a while.

One of my faves was a clip of the swordfight between the Phantom and Raoul from the movie Phantom of the Opera.

Sometimes I forget that many of you have human children.
I guess they would make good desktop pictures too.

Cindy is my desktop diva. On this computer, I have the pic that's in my current siggy. On my office computer I have an older one, where she's looking up over her shoulder at me. It's a great conversation starter.

On this computer, I have one of my boys as a baby with his orange brother in their foster home. They are 'reading' the paper, and the rest of the sibs are in a little 'house' in the background. I call it, "Looking for a Job".

Mattie, our calico, is there now. I did have Speedboat, but I had to move him. It is too painful since we lost him in January.

I've never used any of my cats pics as a wallpaper.
Maybe because it's so hard to get a good balanced picture of them without something behind them that looks terrible. I'd have to fix a nice background or photoshop them. The only pet picture I've used is one of my baby turtles. IIRC someone on here asked if they could use it a couple years ago.

My current wallpaper is a darkened picture from the first observation of neutral current interactions from CERN in '73.
Bubble chamber pics, nebula photos, and fractals tend to be more of what I prefer.

Laptop (its a real conversation starter, I was working on the train on the commute into the office on Friday and several other passengers mentioned it after hearing the guy beside me say 'wow your cat must have been really POed at you'
