Well, I found a cat to add to the family. Mr. Wiskers (formerly known as Smokey). He looks so much like Bradley that I am thrilled, except that he is a Persian Cross, and therefore looks like a little lion. He went to visit the vet today and received a clean bill of health and his shots.
I am however, developing a complex. This is the second time that I have brought a new cat into the house only to find that it is terrified of me. Mr. Wiskers vacillates between being very sweet one minute demanding to be pet, and hissing and batting (with his great big furry paws) the next. He is sequestered in a room with all his toys and other things that his owner sent with him. I spent last night with him, but he is still hissing at me more frequently than not. I think he is trying to establish an alpha cat position with me. Do I allow this? If I allow this how will he get along with Bradley when they are finally introduced face to face? She is as of yet, actually quite curious about the new addition. Sniffing under the door every chance she gets.
I wanted to upload some pictures but I seem to have over run my quota with the 3 pictures I already have.
