Niall - wow! I thought only Tolly did that. Lily doesn't do it, but Tolly does. I've always said it's like the game "What's the time Mr Wolf" - are you familiar with that?

Can't say I've ever heard of that game. Firecracker is also the only cat we have that does this. Runner and the bengals just come trotting after me without stopping.

Ah, googled the game and I think you call it "What time is it Mr Fox?" in the US.

Basically one person stands at the front, facing away from the rest and calls, a time (e.g. three o'clock). Each of the group has to take 3 steps forward and then Mr. Wolf (person at the front) turns and looks at them.

This is why the game that Firecracker and Tolly play remind me of this, each time you look at them, they are a bit closer.

Oh your playing peek-a-boo!!! I do that with Rosie when she's at the bottom of the stairs. She creeps up them just like Firecracker and stops when i go forward saying "Peek-a-boo!!" then races up the last few stairs

Weve done it since she was a kitten and i love it!

I love how Firecracker's stance and facial expression is exactly the same every time. He's just... closer.
