Mainly it would be for my 4.5yo ragoll male, as of now his favourite is the chicken soup adult but it's not working for him, it seems to lack what he needs to maintain his coat properly.

I re-introduced royal canin which my turning 5yo female switched over too no issues, and my just turned 1yo male also likes, i went for the indoor beauty 35 and her coat issues are improving..

Now copper(the 4.5yo male) in question seems less impressed with this feed, is their a different canin i should try? or another brand that may tempt his tastes, it needs to support the type of coat a ragdoll has.

I should add i don't feel the chicken soup is A bad food but it doesn't seem to contain what my adult ragdolls require to maintain their coats decently.

Thanks for your help.

it sounds like you need a formula with omega six of 3.5% or higher... what brands are available to you?

Wellness Complete Health (chicken) is one of the few foods I can feed Bumper in a pinch, he is a fussy eater - he either hates them and starves himself or gorges and vomits but I don't have either issue with the Wellness, I think it has higher omega6 than many foods too

Orijen is also a fantastic choice... It was amazing for both my Ragdolls... I now feed EVO, and it is also amazing - they have the shiniest coats, that never tangles or matts...

Regular Orijen is 3.5 Omega 6, and EVO is 4 (I feed the fish variety due to allergies)

We switched to California Natural Chicken & Rice for dry food. Taste of the Wild didn't work at our house. They liked it, but it kept coming back up - even when only mixed in a little bit with their old food.
And I was trying to get them off their old food. At least one of my cats doesn't seem to tolerate dry foods with multiple protein sources, but does well on simple chicken & rice type diets. Even my very picky senior cat likes the California Natural dry.
The cats transitioned themselves, they just stopped eating the old stuff and picked out their new food from the bowl.

Thank you, yes i had that feed here before but it was getting very hard to get ahold of so i discontinued it. I may have to search it out elsewhere if i cannot get my boy to switch-over his food

If the food is great for him otherwise, have you considered trying supplements for his coat, and keeping the same food? A little egg white fed to your cat can help shiny up the coat. I've heard vitamin E can also do this.
