Wow, how awesome!!!
If only cities weren't so sprawled into suburbs, people could definitely use this to get to work in the US too..although I know some people wouldn't give up their cars, but for me I'd do anything possible to avoid driving every day..

I like the overall idea of them, but like c1atsite, I would feel more secure if the handlebars were in the front. The idea of just sitting there with my hands down on the bars like that....I don't know, it just doesn't look very safe to me.

They seem very light, too. I wonder how they would handle a gust from a tractor trailer or other large vehicle along the road. I live in a very rural area, but they would be good for more of a suburban location.

Of course, it doesn't matter. I'm so uncoordinated, I'd probably kill myself within five minutes.

I can just about feature doing a face-plant on it when I hit a pothole or something.

Looks to me to be designed for very urban areas, or very short errand-running. It can't have enough battery to go very far.

I want one to get around at our Nationals hot rod club meeting (this year in Colorado Springs).

yay something cool coming out of Christchurch!

Those bikes look awesome, and would be great for city transportation. I wonder how much they cost?
