I am a big fan of the spring coming soon, it is going to be 3 degrees here today. That's shorts weather for us

We had a great weekened, got the whole place cleaned andall the laundry done. Love weekends that are accomplished.

Off to work in a bit...and then to kickbox class tonight!

Morning!

I woke up to several eCards today, reminding me that it's my Birthday! The girl who sits next to me is a mini Martha Stewart, I have a suspicion based on what I've seen so far, that my desk is going to look like a child's birthday party celebration when I get to work, because she stayed there late after I left

This is the first birthday in over 20 years that I've worked

I tried to get the day off and would have been successful except there are 2 people away today already. At my other job I would have had this week off for vacation. Oh well, at least next year I'll have it off because I'll make sure I include it in my vacation time.

Nothing much planned. Just work, home and finish taping up boxes for charity.

Good morning! Happy Birthday, Natalie!

I never took my birthday off work because I always took Banshee's birthday off instead. She was born on Sept 20th and I liked to spend her birthday with her, catering to her every whim. In fact, when I interviewed for this job, I told my director that I would have to have every Sept 20th off work. He asked me why and I told him that it was my cat's birthday. He stopped dead, looked at me, and started laughing. But I was serious. (He hired me anyway.) And I always took a vacation day on Sept 20th while my Queen B was alive. Last Sept 20th was the first working day for me for 14 years. It was difficult.

Anyway, not much going on today. No weather issues, thank goodness. We're going to do a little shopping tonight, but that's it for me.

Dinner will be grilled salmon, done on the indoor grill.

Hi all!

We're getting snow and crazy wind right now, but I don't think it's going to amount to anything truthfully. I can't believe it's March now either, time is flying! You know what they say though, if March is in like a lion, it'll be out like a lamb, woot!

After work today we'll be stopping into check on one of my former foster cats and her brother. Their owners just got married and we offered to catsit while they are on their honeymoon.

Tonight I hope to spend some time with the current foster cats and do a bit of socialization. Have a good day all!

Happy Birthday Natalie!

Well today is a busy one, I need to mail, among other things, my amended tax returns, sigh, along with my checks to Uncle Sam and The Governator, double sigh.. Not happy one bit with my old bosses for screwing with my W-2s... but anyway, it's done now, I can stop thinking about it.

I also have to finish packing for my trip home to cold wintery PA tomorrow!

Can't forget the gloves and scarf and hat!

I also have to go let people steal a few tubes of blood from me.

And in between all that I'm writing a letter to my doctor asking him to get rid of his intolerable receptionist, or at least deal with her and train her to act human to other humans, otherwise I will be finding a new doctor and letting everyone I know about his office. (She made me cry last week. Unacceptable.) This letter is taking me all day because I want to make sure it's not just me whining and complaining. I've got to make it way too reasonable to dismiss.

Ya know, it didn't dawn on me till I just read that. Wow.

Nothing too exciting here...

Weather: hovered around 0 all day.... supposed to be 4 by the end of the week.

First heavy duty post op physio today + the restart of pt on my other hand = a more sore Chris..... no pain no gain.

Didn't sleep well last night, so I am tired......hopefully a better sleep tonight.

Just a blahhhhhhh Monday.

Will be glad for tomorrow.

good evening all

well i spent the day still trying to recover from my saturday shift, didnt happen though as i actually had work again

so far im not in till friday now but i think that might change

ive also put some false nails on as ive biten my "normal" nails all off again so my hands look like ladies hands again
