Today I have the privilege to post here your daily question for the Lounge… I want to mention that all questions here are just for the unique porpoise of fun and of course, to stay in touch with all members, and to know what do you think about it… of course sometimes some questions are a kind of silly but funniest in the bottom!.. … so lets begin…

-How often do you help to some place with donations?

As far as monetary donations I just make small donations when I go to the petsmart near me. I do the click sites daily and volunteer at the humane society.

At funerals for family or friends, I will make a donation to the charity of their choice (often American Cancer Society) instead of sending flowers. I also click the donate kibble daily.

I do the daily click evry day.

Yes I have clicked today, I usually go to freekibble and animal rescue after checking my emails. I also send a check to the animals annualy when I can afford to.

Usually when I donate, it's not money. I often donate needed supplies or sevices or time.

Though of course, I donate money, too! And when I do, it is often, though not always, on a credit card.

No set montlhly allowance for donations, though- just what I can when I can!

No, I don't tend to click on things... How does that give anything to anyone?

Every year since I adopted Chester I've sent a donation in his honor to the shelter that he came from to celebrate his gotcha day. Also, I donated to the new cat adoption center at this shelter in his name.

I some times send them an additional donation if I hear that they have a particular need for it. Last year they took in a huge number of sick cats from a hoarder. A large number of them needed medical care. I sent a donation for that.

I've not done a lot of the click for charity sites because I don't know if they are really doing what they say they are.

The company that I work for will match charitable contributions to this shelter. I send them checks because I can include the request form with it.

-How often do you help to some place with donations? I go through my closet/home every new season and sort through things that I don't need anymore. If I don't use it or know someone who can, it goes straight to Goodwill or The Mariah House (they help abused women in my area. they helped me when I was going through my divorce a while back.)

As far as animals go- I spent quite a while working as a vet tech and doing rescue work/fostering, so I am always helping out at local shelters and rescues when I have time!

-Do you have a montly compromise? I don't. Money is very tight, so since I do not have any money to give, I try to donate my time through volunteering when I can or donate things that I don't have a need for that may help someone else.
