My entire life (42 years) I have never ever fit in anywhere. Im anti social and dont like peope much and they really dont like me. But of course I am human and even though I didnt like people much I was lonely and wanted to fit in somewhere. It never worked out. So I became the crazy cat lady and spend my life with cats. I have gone to several support groups for things I have but still just couldnt fit in. But this site OMG!! Its like every post I read I could have written myself!! I finally understand that us REAL cat lovers are definately in a class of our own and Im so glad I found you guys!! I relaly fit in here!! Thank you all for being here!!

I'm so glad you've found a place where you can be yourself!
I know how difficult it is to try to fit in sometimes.

GRATZ!!! What a great age!!! I am throwing a HUGE party for my 42nd birthday, as well as for my hubby when he gets there.

This year for you should be a year of understanding and finding THE ANSWER TO LIFE, THE UNIVERSE, and EVERYTHING!!!!!

I hope it is.

I am glad you finally feel like you fit in. Everyone fits in somewhere!!

Be safe.

So glad you feel comfy here. I'm not much for people in real life either. Can't imagine how I managed before the internet!

Someone posted a link to a Meyers-Briggs test here one time. Surprise (not), the majority of the people here are introverts. Welcome to our club. We're a very good group of people.

I have goose bumps cause I just love this site so much! Cat people are definately a breed of our own. I love that you validaded that there was a study that proves my point LOL (oh! I just glanced over at the cat condo and there is a big lick fest goin on!! I love when they do that!)
Anyway, thank you all for the wonderful welcome and I look forward to a great support network here. "Normal" people could care less what your cat did or like I just squeeled about the lick fest. So we need eachother cause man, a small story about a lick fest can literally change someones mood for the day!!! I pray to be a positive asset to this group.
OK, I talk a lot sorry

I'm glad you're happy here. Lots of people seem to be.
I was the one that posted MBTI quite a while back - and while we have a lot of introverts, we also have a lot of feeler types. Probably why I do not fit in.

Hm, I not sure if this would clear it up much since it's quite a bit to read. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Myers-B...Type_Indicator
What I meant is there are a lot of people, according to that and the past link to a test I posted on here, who are predominately Feeling types - that means exactly what it sounds like. They use their feelings to help guide them and decide things. The opposite is Thinking types that logic their way through things. Of course everyone mixes both functions to a degree - feeler types still think.
But the overall result is you get a lot of touchy feely threads on here and people talking about feelings - Those threads might as well be in another language to me, hence the reason I don't feel like I fit in.

The "MBT"I she's talking about is the Myers-Briggs Test Momofmany mentioned - it's a personality test that indicates what type of person you are. ....and as Amy (Momofmany) pointed out, most of us on here in "real life" are introverts or not very social people.

Strange Wings posted a link to where you can take the test online some time a while ago.

Strange Wings: OMG! I have been trying to understand why I am like I am. The anti social and the thing where I have never fit in with human beings. I really couldnt figure out why, but you said something that I heard years ago but I didnt understand it then but WOW you made me understand,,,,,,my problem is I live 100% based on my feelings. Wow! I love when I learn something new about myself, but on the flip side I hate it cause that means now I am responsible for trying to change. Thank you sooo much!

Hi!!! Welcome to the forum!!!

Wow, this thread has been interesting for me.... I never thought most of TCS members to be introverts... Maybe because I am just about the most extrovert person out there

You put me in a room, and I work it from the first person to the last... social butterfly... No wonder I am in Sales

This is so interesting! I will b following this thread!

Crazycatlady777 were we separated at birth?? You feel EXACTLY the same way I do!! I found this site and fell into heaven!!! I deal with people all day long and can't wait until I can get home and be with Bella!!! I have a couple of good friends who understand my eccentricities but on this site I have friends from all over the world!! I refer to everyone here as my cat buddies. It is wonderful to able to share everything without fear of being judged, isn't it? And this is the place.
