Yep, I got a new box, well there was yoga stuff in it I ordered, but Ginger claimed it as soon as the bothersome mat and all was out. I but a blanket in there for her and she gave me the cat eyes of doom. Wouldn't go near it. Blanket came out, cat went in.
Goofy critter.

I am making a box fort for the kittos this weekend. Technically my seven year old son is making the fort, but he is allowing me to be first assistant and run the box cutters.

Oh my gosh, these pictures are priceless!!

On my facebook account, I made a photo album of Holland in her various boxes. I have to share my friend Tristan's picture of his Oliver "Squarecat" Stinkleman that he posted in reply to my album (I don't think he's on this site):

I love how much cats love boxes!!

Just for general information..as many have shown with their pictures, ANY box can be a Box Fort. Cats love cardboard boxes!

Does anyone have a theory on why they love boxes so much? The feel of cardboard on their paws? Their catty ability to conform their bodies into the shape of ANY box? Hide & seek?

I must have read somewhere shortly after I got Holland about cats' love of boxes, because I'm sure I wasn't aware of the phenomenon before I got her. I always give her my empty ones until she destroys them.

Is there anything as cute as a cat peeking out of a box/bag/container/etc?

Really, is there anything as cute as a cat doing anything?

Here's baby Sophie peeking out of the mini-fort...

That's hillarious! My bitty likes to over-flow his boxes too.

Wow! You do really know cats! At first he was really interested in it, then I put a rug inside and then suddenly he totally ignored it

I already removed the rug, I hope he'll like it again!

We should call them "Cat in a Box!"

Cats are really cute!

I do so. When I see a cat sitting upright in a cardboard box (you could give Charlie one of those too, you know, just a cardboard box just big enough to fit into) I always say things like

"Oh! It's Jennie-in-a-box!"

Hannah's not a big fan of going inside boxes, but she'll sit ON them all day long. They loved this box and used to pester each other for hours on end. It finally gave up the ghost and went to the recycle bin. Thankfully, I have an endless supply of boxes at work!

Hannah on the top, Callie on the bottom.

Not a fort, but still a box. The gorgeous Callie.

Our huge box fort was trashed before xmas, so now they'll just have to settle for single boxes.

Kuura says "Wut do u mean my fort is humble and modest? U insulted mah fort, I'll kill u while u sleepz"

All cats are beautiful.

But you know, Love brings out their beauty in a special way and there's no question that all TCS cats are deeply loved and well taken care of.
