This mat caught my eye because of its size and texture, which traps fine litter rather well. It's large enough for jumbo litterboxes, which is also a plus. It's not quite as easy to clean as a...
This scoop was a freebie with some clumping litter I bought last year, and I like it so much that I've bought a second one. It's perfect for fine clumping litter, which it sifts very thoroughly....
I have two cats a 1yr old and a 5mo old and they both love this food, the duck seems to be the kind they love most.
Zelda my oldest had problems keeping the wildeness food down for a few...
purchased this from air force exchange for use while traveling in our class a RV. its adjustable for size with a spring loaded top also by leaving out sections. the only problem with it is the...
Holland has a large(ish) Amazon box fort that she likes to hide in. One thing to remember - when you make box forts, give them 2 doors, cats are more likely to play in them if they have at least one backup "escape" route.
I don't have any pics of her in her box fort, but we have plenty of pics of her in boxes (some from the other thread):
She also loves her paper bags:
And this beach house wasn't free, but she loves it too:
Me too!! My kitties love boxes! I just don't have the room for them right now.
After Tuesday when the charity comes to pick up boxes and some furniture (I'm getting rid of my couch), I want to get a cat tree or something fun for them climb and look out the window. Something with cubby holes.
OMG! Love all the pictures! This thread made me laugh, even at 2:30 am! I thought I was inventive, but the "Redneck cat castle" has my 4 foot long box tunnels beat!
Here's Maia enjoying a peep hole in the middle of her box runway.....
Honestly she will try to fit into just about anything, and make it known!
The coffee table I bought for my living room has been abandoned to my second bedroom since I adopted Holland. It simply took up too much playing space...

Terrific pictures everyone, thanks for sharing. I have a TON of course as my cats have many Box Forts (rotated) Paper Bag Forts (left out until they disintegrate) and Newspaper Portable Tents.
It's just a matter of getting them loaded into photobucket. I hate photobucket so avoid doing it much.
He's just being a cat. He may not want to use it today, but he has used it right? Your pictures.... and he'll use it again
You can encourage him by sprinkling some cat nip in it, and incorporate it into your Interactive Games (toss a crumpled paper into it for him to chase, for example, drag a string through it...) but cats use things in their own time.
I need to make Google a box fort. He loves boxes... he just cant fit into most... He would hide in this one and pop out. It was pretty funny but he wouldnt do it if I had the video camera on! Christmas please ignore the mess Yes that is the same cat... God I miss him being that size! He was so much easier! LOL!
Bags too... mostly victorias secret bags... he loves those for some reason.
Is there a pillow, or a blanket, inside of the box? if there is, take it of... For some reason, kitties like the feeling of the cardboard better than the pillow or blanket...

Yep, I got a new box, well there was yoga stuff in it I ordered, but Ginger claimed it as soon as the bothersome mat and all was out. I but a blanket in there for her and she gave me the cat eyes of doom. Wouldn't go near it. Blanket came out, cat went in.
Goofy critter.
I am making a box fort for the kittos this weekend. Technically my seven year old son is making the fort, but he is allowing me to be first assistant and run the box cutters.
On my facebook account, I made a photo album of Holland in her various boxes. I have to share my friend Tristan's picture of his Oliver "Squarecat" Stinkleman that he posted in reply to my album (I don't think he's on this site):

Does anyone have a theory on why they love boxes so much? The feel of cardboard on their paws? Their catty ability to conform their bodies into the shape of ANY box? Hide & seek?
I must have read somewhere shortly after I got Holland about cats' love of boxes, because I'm sure I wasn't aware of the phenomenon before I got her. I always give her my empty ones until she destroys them.
