Well... She was a stray, she was abandoned, and now she is mine .. She is very loving, and yesterday I noticed a knot on her side,as well as she had like a rusty color blood coming from her vagina.. I took her to the vet, she examined her ,said she was pregnant .. But when I rescued her on sunday, she was very malnurished, and not she is already bigger, ive kept food for her to eat.. Her nipples are no longer white, and they are not lactating yet but they are pink in color... The vet said she would starve her body to provide for the young fetuses, and now that she has a constant food supply she is developing pretty quick .. But what concerns me is the red from ehr vagina, the vet said if lasts more than a week I should be alarmed ... anyone with help ????

She could be going in labor or losing the kittens.
I have seen blood when cats have been in labor but it was mostly clear.
Get a 2nd opinion.

See, Thats what I was thinking ... and tonight she don't want to be bothered ... she stays in the garage, where it is warm of course , and she didnt come out tonight when I went in there, she just laying around .. being kinda useless.. I have read alot of threads on here about cats bleeding, and can either be going in to labor, or mis carrying.. I have never had a female anything, and I really hope for the best .. !

Whiskers and Meeko had slight blood when they were in labor and they became friendly.
Coco never had a discharge.
Can you get a ultrasound done?

From my experience, I've had one miscarriage from a young mother, but by that point they were big enough to have been delivered. Did your vet say how far along she was? She could have delivered them somewhere hidden, or she could be about to have them. Just keep an eye on her, and check her hiding spots every once in a while
goodluck!
