Are there any Amer. Idol fans out there? I'm sure there are. Every year I say I'm going to stop watching, but so far that hasn't happened. Did you see last night (the guys)? Simon is normally not very nice but I think he was especially rude to some of the guys last night. Usually I just laugh at him, but last night he just made me mad! Any opinions out there? Who do you like in the new crew. I think that guy named Casey is going to be in the finals.

I used to watch, but I'm starting to forget it's on and miss it. I missed the girls this week and only caught the last 20 minutes of the guys last night. I can't really give an opinion since I only saw the last few, but I didn't think the recap of all 12 at the end got me too excited. But it's just the start so I'm sure they're nervous as all heck. Gosh, I sure would be!!

Yep I watch AI every year, for me it's a bit of fresh air. Some of the shows on TV lately are pretty bad so to see live guys and gals singing is a nice change. I too like Casey from the day he auditioned, whether he will be able to sing the genre's they will throw at him remains to be seen tho. He definitely is eye candy

I'm really not happy with the judges this season tho, Simon and Randy are great but I cannot stand Kara, she is way to full of herself and Ellen is not doing as well as I thought she would and I am a big fan of her's. I really don't think Ellen will be back next year, just sayin'.

As far as Simon being rude, well he always has been but there is no one more honest as he. He doesn't sugarcoat things as Paula did. Anyway I'll be watching. Last year's winner will be on tonight, he is so forgetful tho. I don't even remember his name and he has gone nowhere. Now Adam Lambert is all over the place, he was the real winner last year.

I don't typically watch but I watched yesterday. I thought Ellen was so repetitive, she had nothing to say because I think she just isn't knowledgeable to critique anyone...
I dunno, I still think she could do better if only she wouldn't repeat what all the other judges said and have more confidence in herself, about her importance as a judge.
My favorites last night were Andrew Garcia and Casey James. Casey James is too hot, I hate how Kara jumped all over him eww...

I think Ellen is a little nervous since coming on live, maybe she'll get used to it soon. Casey is way hot and that will get him lots of votes but he does have a nice voice also. As I said, Kara is way to full of herself and she shouldn't be since she is nothing to look out IMO. Ellen is more attractive than her, have you ever seen those cosmetic commercials Ellen is on, she looks beautiful.

I've watched every year except the first.

I like Casey and also think the 16 year old boy is very good, though his name escapes me. The one who sung "Angels" during Hollywood week. I hope they both make it to the finals. I wish they would have chosen a singer to be their fourth judge rather than Ellen.
I was hoping Nicole from the PCDs would be their fourth judge.

The girls were way better than the guys IMO. Sure Simon was harsh, but most of them were just awful!

*****SPOILER ALERT*******

I agreed with all of the eliminations, although there were lots of people I thought were worthy of the boot. The only one I was sad at was Janelle. I didn't think she deserved to go, and I've liked her all along.

I was so thrilled that Jim Morrison wannabe got canned!
I couldn't stand him, he's so smarmy!

I had picked these 4 to go home last night, me and my sister do this before the show to see if we picked right
Here are the 4 I picked to go home: Haeley Vaughn, Lacey Brown, Jermaine Sellers and Tyler Grady, he was the only one I got right.

The reason I know all the names is that every year I download their pics and print them, I am looking at it right now. I cross them off as they go home.

I llike Idol and have watched all seasons. I think Kris Allen from last year is ok but I love Adam lamberts song that's playing recently....What do you want from me...It's very catchy and I always hear it on the way to work and it sticks in my brain all day. He should have won last year IMO.

Too early for me to pick a favorite but I do like people that are different. I like the blonde girl Lilly and Casey and a few others who's names escape me.

I agree that Morrison guy was creepy. He was a rocker wannabee for sure but just didn't have it.

I've watched Idol every year except the first. So far, this season isn't grabbing me like some of the others. Nobody stands out for me all that much. Some of them seem to have some promise, but the song choices for the most part were horrible. It's still early, so I'm sure I'll get a favorite somewhere along the line.

Part of my problem was the song choice, too. I really like faster, upbeat songs and those people were depressing me.
Or maybe it's my love of hard rock music, the year Chris Daughtry (sp?) was on was one of my favorites. And Adam never ceased to surpass my expectations.

I was so happy to hear this news. Howard needs to stay on the radio, he is way to ugly for TV IMO. I could not stand to see him every week on AI. I just hope they get someone who replaces Simon that most will like altho I have an idea who may be a good choice since he is most like Simon than anybody else and that is Piers Morgan but he is on America's Got Talent. They should bribe him with the big bucks
