Bomb Threat (Winnipeg)

I'm at work and one of the girls behind me has a radio. Apparently there is a bomb threat at an elementary school about 2 blocks from where I live!!!

OMG, that's horrible! I hope that it is a false alarm, maybe just some kid acting stupid.

I haven't heard anything more. I wasn't near a radio this afternoon. I put on the news so I'll hopefully hear an update.

I watched Global News, both the National and Local, and it wasn't even mentioned.

I did a google search and found a blurb on 2 obscure sites, one being a twitter blog.

I guess bomb threats are so common that they don't even bother mentioning them anymore!

The twitter blog indicated that the police searched the school and didn't find any evidence of a bomb.

I remember there being bomb threats when I was in elementary school, some of the older kids (5th grade), usually the boys would think they're being smart and call in a threat..
