Recently I have been getting error messages when I visit the Cat Site Web pages which says For information on how your program can cause an assertion failure see the Visual C + documentation on asserts. At the bottom of the page it displays three choices to click on Abort, Retry and Ignore. No matter which one I click on the message block goes white. The computer either hangs up and I have to push, control, alt, and delete, or it sits there and after while the page changes and I get a message that says the tab has been recovered.
Does anyone have any idea what is going on with my computer. HELP

Did you find a fix for it yet? If not, try compatibility view and making sure IE 8 has all of the updates it needs (patches to fix problems they've addressed so far). You can also downgrade to a lower IE if you find the need to do so.
Firefox and Opera are two of the best options on windows. I won't recommend Google's Chrome because it's spyware - but there are other browser projects using the same source code and leaving the bad stuff out, such as SW Iron or Chromium, that give a lighter weight faster browser than FF or Opera.
