Hi there, I am new to the site, and despite coming here seeking help, figure I should still introduce my little fur family!

I'm married, 22, and currently have 3 furbabies and one bearded dragon, they're my children.

I have two cats, one 9yr old female rescue I just made named Maybelle, I saved her life, she spent 6months being attacked by 4-5 other cats, was half her body weight, and had severe open wounds on her back when I found her. 2 vet visits, 2 different antibiotics, and lots of love later, she's become quite the little lovey cat for us, but is still terrified of anything outside the room she's in as well as any other cat.

which brings me to my problem child Madison. Hes about a year and a half old, recently diagnosed as FUTD and just had a urethral plug removed, he's my baby, I have to admit, we sing together, play, watch movies, before his diagnosis, I'd share a bit or two of my food with him, and he is the most camera ready cat I have ever met, I love him dearly, and the days he spent at the vet were the longest days of my life. he's my little snuggle bunnie
I found him at 5weeks old outside my employer of course he was half starved, also covered in engine oil, missing half a bleeding ear, and on top of that it had to be snowing and absolutely freezing cold, on a busy intersection. It sounds like something out of a movie, one of the most pathetic and heart wrenching scenes I've ever encountered, so I brought him home, couldn't bare leaving him to die out there.

I also have a minischnauzer I rescued after a year of abuse, near death, followed by a year of neglect, and have nursed her personality and psychological funks back to order as well as retrained and given a 900x better life to, she also has urinary problems, having had one struvite stone, but her diet has seemed to clear her up in no time.

And then the blessing of the Beardie! the only one I paid for, and the only one who hasn't thrown my husband and I at eachothers throats for vet fees, he's a doll, a comedian, and quite the pleasure to have around

I look forward to sharing and chatting with you guys, as well as the advice you have to share and maybe even having some advice of my own at some point!

so hello everyone from our furry little family!

Welcome to TCS! It's a great place to be!

It seems that you have a wonderful little family. Poor Maybelle -- thank goodness you came into her life. I'm sure she is so much healthier and happier in your care. It takes such a special person to rescue animals and nurse them back to physical and emotional health. I'm so honored to be among such good company on this site. And, little Madison! I've no doubt in my mind that you saved that sweet boy's life. Many vibes to you (and all of your fur-kids) going forward .

And, I certainly can't forget about your dog and beardie! I, myself, have two dogs who are the light of my life (along with my kitties). One of them was a rescue and we're still working out all of her kinks. It's been a couple of years now, but I adore her and wouldn't have it any other way. And, as for beardies, I love them. I was actually set to get one for my birthday in December, but I wound up taking in a bunch of foster-turned-permanent resident hamsters and I felt it wouldn't be fair to anyone involved had I brought yet another animal into the home. But, I can't wait to see pics of your little beardie -- I love them!

Anywho, welcome again. I hope to get to see you around for a long time to come!

Welcome. Sounds like you have a great little family. You were sure a Godsend to your pets. I have two cats, Muffin whose picture you will see in my signature and a white calico female named Mattie. We lost Max, the black one, in 2005. He was 12 years old. We lost Speedboat very recently January 25th. He was 14 years old. The folks at this forum are great. Have fun.
