Good morning! I'm up early for some reason this morning....can't sleep in any longer.

Here's today's Question Of The Day.

How do you fix your favorite burger?

Mmmmm.....fresh off the grill (seared on the outside/slightly pink on the inside), with bacon and cheese, catsup and mayo....sometimes a few dill pickle slices too!

Ok its 7 am and I am already getting hungry just reading those two!

Just hot off the grill with a hard roll, ketchup, relish, and mustard. Maybe a dill pickle.

We are getting a foot of snow tonight and tomorrow, I wonder if the grill would work in the snow?

I like it on a wheat bun, toasted, with mayonnaise, lettuce, sweet pickle, sweet onion slice, and tomato. Hold the ketsup and cheese. And I like for my hubby to cook them on the grill. Yummm.

Oh, trust me; grills work fine in the snow! LOL

Mine is a very rare grilled double burger with blue cheese in the center, sauteed mushrooms, and lots of whole-grain mustard on a lightly grilled whole wheat bun. With lots of pickles, too, but on the side. (A.K.A. heart attack on a plate) DH makes an absolutely perfect blue cheese burger.

Delicious Question...

Sometimes I join it with onion rings but the majority of time with potatoes!...

Swiss cheese, mayo and mushrooms if I feel fancy.
But if its off the grill I like it with with just plain ol' mustard and ketchup.

Great daily question! Got me thinking about summer!

If I make them - Extra lean ground beef (97/3 if possible), season the meat - garlic powder, black pepper, paprika, onion soup mix/dried chopped onion/or onion powder. Cooked well done (had food poisoning off a slightly pink burger as a child, I'm not revisiting that again).

Spinach or leaf lettuce, cheese, onions, bell peppers (can be cooked or raw), pickles, tomato, and ketchup.

No mayo or mustard unless you want to make me

If eating somewhere else usually all the veggies (minus the peppers... they're never offered) and more ketchup. If possible I prefer lean longhorn beef or bison since it taste better than premade patties or the 80/20 or lower grade beef that most places use.

I like them grilled with cheese, bacon, ketchup, mayo, dill pickles and sometimes lettuce. When we make them at home, there isn`t usually bacon on it though. Thats just if I get a burger from somewhere.

Now I want a burger either from Wendys or Harveys.

At a restaurant, I used to be able to get an awesome burger with fets chees, oniions and whiskey BBQ sauce.

Man, my lunch is just not going to cut it after reading this thread.

And I thought I was the only one who can't tolerate mayo and mustard!

Make mine a Patty Melt: grilled onions with melted cheese on toasted rye bread. Ketchup is optional.

I like BigMacs!
If I prepared them, I will try to make them taste like bigmacs, but I am never able to. I am missing the secret ingredients in the sauce!
One thing is sure, there HAS to be pickles in it or I won't eat it!
