Hey everyone I've posted a few times about food, sorry hehe

Basically a short run down of what my problem is

I had my Missy kitty wayy back in 2003, she loved all kinds of food til one day I had a kitten pack of dry food since then it's been a nightmare to get her to eat anything wet, or any good grade dry food.

After a long journey though and your help I figured she only likes pate style wet food
So i can happily get her to have Bozita and Hi life pate tins. problem with this being there quite expensive so I still do feed dry as well as wet everyday, Simba loves loves loves Applpaws dry food So he has that along with bozita/hi life, Missy on the other hand will not eat applaws or orjein or pets at home purely biscuits basically everything i've tried so far, she refuses, The only dry she will eat, is Hi life Natures best, and Pro plan, I don't think theres much difference in the quality.

but I don't feel happy with this, i've read so many bad things about carbs and such and whilst managing to get her on a good quality wet it feels canceled out by the rubbish dry. :'(
Heres the links to Missys current dry;

I've been looking on zooplus.co.uk tonight and have seen some other dry foods I wondered if you could have a go over the ingrednets for me, if there any better.

Heres one by Bozita:

Smilla:

I had another idea though To feed a slightly cheaper wet, with the bozita or hilife i found these.

So to break down my questions (sorry I do tend to ramble
) they are,

1.Is there any difference in quality to missys current dry foods?

2.Which seems the nicer dry from Bozita and Smilla?

3. Or do you think i'd be better off feeding the smilla wet alongside the other wet foods?

thanks sooooooo much for reading!

Okay I had color coded most of it and then messed up the post...
Over all all seem grainy..

I would want a meat meal( preferably named like beef or chicken ) first ... I would NOT feed a food with wheat as the first ingrediant

The Smilla dry doesn't look too bad either has meat as first ingredent

Ingredients
poultry meal, maize, barley, animal fat, liver meal, protein hydrolysate, meat greaves meal, cellulose (dried), meat meal, whole egg powder, beet shavings (dried), linseed, yeast (dried), fish oil, potassium chloride, dried cranberries, dried blueberries, mussel meat meal, chicory (dried), calendula flowers (dried), yucca (dried) 0.01%.

I don't know alot about the ingredents you see but the Smilla wet and dry look pretty good?

Yeah I was shopping all over zooplus with something for a nice meat content but is a little cheaper then bozita (thats better for them then whiskas or something), because i have to suppliment the bozita with dry, for price reasons. i thought about finding a cheaper wet so I could feed both wet, or find a better dry that she might eat.

But missy seems to love all pate wet foods, so i think i'd have more sucess finding another wet she liked.

Does this sound like a good idea if I could afford the two types of wet rather then using dry?

thanks for your help sharky

IMHO , Yes two lower wets would be better than dry.. If your kitty agrees and will eat it ... This may sound very crazy, can you put a different style in the blender to make a "new" pate ?

I have tried this but I find with the more chunky food or gravy food theres alot more jelly content, Bozita doesn't seem to have alot of jelly,
So she likes that!
thanks for your reply again

Thsi has given me a great idea to feed, Bozita still, and insted of feeding the dry try out the Smilla wet! I've never seen it before on zooplus, might of missed it but the meat contents good and it's alot cheaper then bozita because they do super saver deals

I've always wanted to get them onto totally wet, but the higher grade wets are so expensive, So i have to Feed half wet and dry,And i have yet to find a good wet at a decent price but this Smilla seems a good price

So insted of doing Dry in the day then bozita on a night, Smilla in day and bozita on a night something like that so its all wet but more affordable then feeding Bozita soely.

I hope she likes it because that would mean they'd be on a wet only feed, Of Bozita and Smilla

wet is a good thing for all kitties who will eat...

By products that are meat and organs with a touch of bone are things cats do and would eat in the wild.... thus in a wet food I find no issues feeding them

Yeah she LOVES the Bozita, but it's just so costly to feed them both that only without dry, and alot of other wets that are cheaper then bozita usually have like 4 percent meat which is rubbish!

Hope i've found the answer here because it means a total wet diet which is so important and both have a nice meat intake, Smillas alittle less meat bozita is 97percent meat hehe
Feel all excited now placing my order! heres to all wet that isnt rubbish that she will eat haha wish me luck

thank you btw sharky i'm so rubbish at explaining things hehe just to clear it up both my cats are on 50wet/50dry beucase bozita is expensive but i would like to use 100percent wet complimenting bozita with a slightly cheaper alterntive so 50bozita/50Smilla wet just only to cut the cost without cutting to much back on the quality

I phoned zooplus about SMilla and they said it has a very smilla texture to bozita, very pate, woo!
