Smooch is a naughty boy

he was wandering about so thought nothing of it, he went into the kitchen again thought nothing of it hes not normally naughty or destructive with things but this time was different he got up on the bench up onto the shelf where my mam keeps her eggs in a wire chicken and he knocked it on the floor, mam just just bought 2 dozen eggs (she bakes) she also has a cermaic tiled floor

all but one egg broke we spent 20minutes cleaning the slime up

but at least it wasnt carpeted i guess

me and my mam were killing ourselves laughing while tidying it up, coz she claims smooch is a good cat and mine are the naughty ones but at least mine havent broke the eggs (famous last words i know)

Wow! 2 dozen broken eggs on the floor that would be an overwhelming mess for me!!
Just one thing though I dont understand, I thought eggs have to be refrigerated, so what do they have like a shelf life before refrigerating? Just curious, not being a b*&^h/ LOL

my mam used to but read somewhere that you shouldnt keep them in the fridge as the yolks could go rotten

but when you buy eggs they arent in a fridge, and have about 2 weeks use by date on them so they just go on the shelf

my mam bought new ones at the weekend and he tried to have them again silly kitty
