I left for work this morning feeling like there was soemthing stuck in my shoe, but I was late so I didn't rip it off to check I just let it be until I got to work. (I have very wide feet so all my shoes are way too long for me.

I sat down at my desk and pried off my shoe. Low and behold, stuck way down inside the toe was a mouse! -Thankfully not a real one, it was one of the little fur-covered toy mice my mom sent Aya.

Appreantly she thought I needed a toy...

Awww! Open shoes are an open invite/hiding place for stashing toys!

So are open purses. When I was using a larger purse, I got to work one day and found one of the girls' furry mice in it.

I love to find "gifts" like that in a shoe or my suitcase when I have to travel; it's a nice reminder of the guys waiting for me at home.

I've never figured out why cats love sticking their toys into shoes.
But I have three of them that will do it here... all girls, incidentally. We have to check any shoes that aren't put up in the shoes rack.

It could be worse, though. My little light colored kitten, Tana, sought out my shoe to barf in before..

Mine haven't done that but my son has.

I was driving to my friend's house and I could feel something my 20 eye Doc, now I have to unlace it and then re-lace it and it takes a good 5+ mins to do so so I waited until I got to her house to remove it. I found a baby handful of Cheerios in one boot. Guess Bobby, who was 1 at the time, thought I might need a snack or wanted me to think about him while I was at the club with my other mom friend(our husbands at the time, we've both since divorced, watched the kids.)

When I was a child one of my childhood cats barfed worms in a pile of my clean laundry. -Gross!

That is too cute! I have found furry mice in my purse before...

One time, I was at one of my night classes and I pulled a mouse toy out of my purse, I know the person next to me must have seen it... Not sure if I felt like a magician or a freak.

I got to work one afternoon, unzipped my purse, and out popped Fred. I had to take him home.
The worst was arriving to work at a high end beauty salon with a purse full of cat pee. Yuck!

At least she didn't put a real mouse in your shoe, unlike the "gift" I got one time!

My cat Blaze, who likes to fetch, sometimes leaves mice or sparkly balls inside my shoes.

Fred was kind of a goofy looking old boy, always looked like he was smiling, so when he popped out with his big cheesy grin we all got a good laugh. He got his little head scratched by everyone, got back in my purse, and let me take him home.

You know your purse is too big and usually heavy if you don't notice the addition of a cat in it.
All of my boys are heavy enough that you couldn't miss them - the addition of 10lbs + of weight isn't subtle.
