I can't take the cuteness! 6 pages of cuddly, snoozing, snoring perfection. I love these "theme" picture threads...gives me such a case of the "warm-fuzzies" to see photo after photo of healthy, comfortable, much-loved kitties relaxing without a care in the world!

Here's my contribution...sorry for the bad quality of the first two pics, sadly my digital camera was lost until recently, and Soph's first few months were documented by camera-phone.

Tiny Sophie-Ann (about 6-7 weeks old) contorted around my wrist while I was surfing the 'Net (she would sleep like that for HOURS...even at barely over a pound, she gave my arm a heck of a workout!)

A few weeks later, she moved up to laundry baskets filled with warm, fresh-from-the-dryer clothes. (She's awake here - barely - because I made too much noise trying to get a pic, LOL).

These days, she has come up with an even BETTER sleeping arrangement...

I took these of Holland yesterday:

In a delicious patch of sunlight. She kept opening her eyes when she heard the camera click!

I know it doesn't look it, but she IS sleeping here. This is what happens when a toy goes under the couch and mom doesn't get it out right away. Nap time.

I know she's just a little black lump, but she's MY little black lump...

Not sure what happened. Apparently the site doesn't like Twitpic... I think I fixed it, they're showing up for me now.

Here is Diva on her favorite perch

Hi ScottF. I resized Diva's pic. Very cute but the file was so large I had to scroll horizontally to see her face.

I'm just wondering why cats love to sleep on our workplaces?
I've seen lots of cat pictures sleeping on desktop or laptop!

I wish I had a better camera and some better photography skills... I don't feel that I can capture just how beautiful my girl is. She LOVES to nap on the blanket that I put at the front door (rather large gap at the bottom, and I like to try to keep the heat/cool in).

She makes me nervous that she's going to suffocate when she sleeps like this with her face buried in the blanket:

But there are other times I'm not so nervous, and she's just pretty dang cute:

Thanks. I know we all believe that our kids are the cutest (as it should be), but it's nice to hear someone else say that your kid is cute...

I always feel the same way! Even the pic I chose for my own forum signature, I glance at sometimes and think that it looks nothing like Sophie. Sometimes I think that in the case of our little black beauties, it's simply the highly reflective nature of their coats - the flash reflects on their fur and somehow distorts the shape of them just a little bit (esp if you have a camera like mine, with no "low" setting for the flash - it's like a giant spotlight every time). Easier if you can get a shot without using a flash - but really, EXCEPT when they're sleeping, how often do they stay still long enough for the longer exposure time without a flash?

I have to say though, Holland looks pretty darn gorgeous in every pic I've seen of her!

You could be onto something, because I have pictures of Holland that make her look like two (or more!) different cats...

Thanks. She will sleep like that on ANY blanket she can find. I can't help but worry about her suffocating even though I know she wouldn't do it if it was uncomfortable.

Aww, so many cute pictures. Most of my pics of Swanie and Cindy are when they're sleeping, cause they're just so darn cute. Its hard to pick one or two to post.

These kitties sleeping with their arms around each other make me want another one SO bad!! I don't know how Holland would feel NOT being an only child, but as soon as I can afford it, she's going to have a brother or sister too.

I'm thinking if Charlie would love to have a brother or sister, as far as I know, "Tisay" my dog is the only one for him...
