Some of you may remember the story of the polydactyl tortie I rescued awhile back, and I wanted to update you on what became of her. The rescue lady and her supervisor both thought she was pregnant, but it turned out she was not, thankfully. She stayed at the foster home I took her to, and they considered keeping her since she is so sweet. As she got stronger and more comfortable, the tortitude came out. She started trying to take over the household from the resident cats, and would not let any of them near the young boy. She apparently loves children. They foster lady though this was unfair to all concerned, and sought out a special home for her. They found one easily, and she is now living like a princess as an only cat with a loving family with two boys that cater to her every whim and two parents that allow them to. They sent me a pic of her, and she is just beautiful with a little weight on her and no scared look in her eyes. They named her Pepper and promise that this is her furrever home.
