I completely understand your frustration hun.
Almost every singer foster family I have had have come with URIs. I too have lost kittens due to them. Sending vibes, and try to stay strong.

Thanks, everyone.

No new pics since their eyes have just opened (they are heartbreakingly cute, however). I will get a pic of Becky and her belly though.

I wanted to dose Becky with the Zithromax too so I could knock any infection out of her before her litter is born, but I was told that probably wasn't a good idea. I only have enough for Cleo and company anyway.

Someone mentioned a webcam in another thread - I happen to have one. Cleo's kittens are now live at http://www.ustream.tv/channel/fondas...ngs-kitten-cam. I JUST set that page up so I have some settings to adjust, but I have a bunch of errands to run so will get to it later today.

Hopefully we can watch Becky giving birth in here as well.

Thanks, all! Off-air for the night, I'll resume it in the morning. If you check in and it's off-air during the day, just check back in a bit, sometimes the connection chokes but it usually connects again on its own.

How cute! I checked this morning and it was just a big kitty pile and mom was out stretching her legs and taking a break. I see they're all together taking a little siesta now. How fun to watch!

Super cute. When I first saw the kitten cam I saw one of the babies trying to use his sibling as a pillow
and then I saw the momma's back leg. Now they're just resting. But even from a cam I can tell they're a little bigger than before

Awwww!! The two little spotted ones were playing with each other. Too cute!

Does the little ginger one have problems with the hind legs?

Yes, he has FCKS. His flattened chest has pushed his elbows out, so he is unable to lift himself up enough to get his back legs under him. After this weekend, I will be taping his ankles under him like so: http://www.ramesescats.co.uk/page14/...4/page104.html

I tried putting a brace on him to round out his rib cage but he cried and cried - I was afraid it was doing more harm than good. =/ So, hopefully, once he gets on his hind legs and off his chest, it will round out on its own.

I thought that might be the case, but he certainly doesn't let it slow him down too much! I love to see him keeping up with his littermates! They're all so adorable and really starting to explore!

How's Becky doing?
