And now I'm getting worried.
He hasn't had a major one since he's been on the Interferon. He had a bad one yesterday and I had to take him to the vet to get treated with antibiotics and something to clear the crud out of his lungs. Usually when he gets treated, he's okay for quite some time. He hasn't had a severe episode now for over 3 years. I'm wondering if he's built up an immunity to the Interferon and if the FIP is starting to take its toll on him. I'm also wondering why he's even having such a severe attack when he's been doing just fine. I'm thinking that maybe BlackJack brought something into the house that's contagious. He was supposedly tested and is supposed to be just fine. (BlackJack is the new kitty I just adopted for those of you who don't know).

Please send all the vibes you can spare. I couldn't stand to lose Geronimo too - especially not after losing Maverick not too long ago.

Prayers for everything to be ok.
There is a good chance the new cat might have brought something in.
It has happened to me before.
My almost 18 year old cat got sick because my sphynx brought in germs from a show.

I hope he's okay! I almost faint when Possum gets a coughing spell because they are so scary for him (and me). I'm sorry you're dealing with this and am sending many vibes. Please keep us posted on how he's doing.

I know what you mean. I get so worked up & worried that I start getting dizzy & light-headed.
I'm supposed to stay calm due to my high blood pressure. This isn't helping it any.

I have been hoping you would post something about how Geranimo is doing. I am sorry he is not better. Sending you lots of hugs and prayers and healing for the cat. Stay strong. My husband always tells me don't think about what ifs and don't cross bridges before I get there. I am bad for doing that but I fully understand your concern. Here's hoping for a quick turn around for the cat.
