Wow, I just finished a bowl of chili and thought I'd check the daily question!

I love home made chili. It is such comfort food especially in this neck of the woods!

Have not tried all those products, but have stopped to look at them. I am not sure what I would put them in. But I am open to suggestions.

I do love spicy stuff, and I like chilis, but not too spicy. I love a good bowl of salsa. Habaneros are too hot for me though!

As for "chili" the meal, I like that a lot and we are actually having that for dinner tonight

By chili, I'm assuming you are referring to the pepper and not the dish called chili?

We grow peppers in our garden. We grow chili's, habenaro's, jalepeno, thai, bell, and other varieties. We also grow tomatoes so we make our own salsa every year. Some of those are SPICY - made with the habenaro's, and others are mild which we serve to friends who can't handle the hot.

I also use the habenaro's in stews and other things. I don't use a lot - 1 pepper is enough to season a large pot.

I consider chili peppers as mild.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Chili. Unfortunately (even though yes, I know it is easy) i havenâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]t found a permanent recipe for it yet so I donâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]t make it often.

The hotter the better, Iâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]m a freak with spice lol i pack it in and then add more chili peppers after itâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]s served (so my bf doesnâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]t die of spice lol).

I serve it with a bun or crusty bread buttered up for dunking.

I havenâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]t tried those spices you posted but would try them if i see them around.

I love hot chilies! I'm a big fan of wings and the hotter the better. I don't know if any of you are familiar with Quaker Steak and Lube, but there's one not too far away from us. I love their Atomic Wings, the hottest wings in the place. I had to sign a waiver release in order to eat them. So good! But, yeah, really hot. My brother took a whiff of the wings when the waitress brought them to me; he said that had he been standing, the smell alone would have knocked him on his butt.....but then, he doen't like hot and spicy foods. (They gave me an Atomic Wings Survivor sticker when I ate those wings; I have it on my board here at work.)

I'm always checking out the really hot BBQ sauces and hot sauces that I find in stores. Yum.

When I make chili, I can't have it really hot because DH can't eat anything extremely spicy. When I make something for myself, though, I will make it quite hot and spicy.

Good stuff!

-Do you like it? I LOVE Chilli!! I make my own 3 meat chilli!

-are you tolerant? Yes, as long as it isn't TOOOO spicy!

-Which one is the most spice in your own opinion? I won't make anything over mild/medium (I have severe GERD, so for the sake of not vomiting all night...I have to watch how spicy I make things, even though I like a little kick).

-In what kind of foods do you prefer to join with Chilly? Rice!!! I always make Jasmine rice to go with my chilli! I also grate fresh cheese to go on top

Have you ever tried the Habanaeros?...
Oh No!!!! that's way too spicy for me!!

We make those with cream cheese and wrap them in bacon. Yes, they go straight to your thighs.

I love chili, but I only really like my husband's. I love it with sour cream and cheddar cheese in it. I love chili on hot dogs, which we usually have with the left over chili that he makes.

love.love.love hot stuff!haven't seen these particular sauces, but i do try everything I can get my hands on.
For those with partners who do not wish to partake,I make a batch for me and one for him
Or add the heat from the bottle at the table
Got treated on V-day to get all the hot, spicy, interesting peppers I wanted. What a nice thing to do, considering this is not his thing AT ALL!
