I have to go to the vets office tomorrow to take Muffin who is ten years old. He is due for his physical and a shot. I want to get the vet to do a full senior panel on him this year. We don't want any more surprises like what we got with Speedboat in January. We had no idea he had so much wrong with him and now he is gone. Plus I just dread having to go to the vets office because I guess you can say I am still in shock at losing Speedboat. I am nervous to get the bloodwork done after what just happened, but I feel like I have to. I hope I can sleep tonight. Prayers needed for Muffin and for me.

This mat caught my eye because of its size and texture, which traps fine litter rather well. It's large enough for jumbo litterboxes, which is also a plus. It's not quite as easy to clean as a...

This scoop was a freebie with some clumping litter I bought last year, and I like it so much that I've bought a second one. It's perfect for fine clumping litter, which it sifts very thoroughly....

I know how you feel. I am always afraid of getting bad news at the vet.

Be healthy, Muffin!

Prayers for the tests to be ok.
I dreaded the vets after my cats were pts there.
When my sisters Bengal Ty was pts Nov 20th I did not want to go there for a while but Cleo and Wrinkles had to get a shot.
I understand how you feel.
Let us know how it goes.
I did not want to show my cat after TY was pts also.
He was suppose to be there and had been entered in that show.

You and little Muffin will be in my prayers tonight and tomorrow morning.
I will be praying for a quick routine physical.
I know how you feel about going back to the vet after losing one of your little ones as I have been through the same thing. I followed your thread and was praying for Speedboat...I was so saddened over his passing. Good luck with everything and please keep us posted after the visit.

You're doing the right thing, the sooner things are found, the better they can be treated, and if all is well, you get peace of mind, which is priceless.
The first time I walked into my vet's clinic after letting Ootay go to the Bridge, I went up to the counter to sign in, the receptionist greeted me, I opened my mouth to say hello and burst into tears. It gets easier to go back as time goes on, fortunately, since I am there a lot.
Good luck to you and Muffin tomorrow!

I will say a prayer for you and Muffin that all is well. I know how hard it is to return so soon after a loss. Sometimes, just driving by, I say to myself, "that is where (fill in the blank) went to heaven. "
I guess you can look at it like this is Speedboat's legacy. Thanks to him, Muffin is getting a senior panel. His little friend is benefiting from him. He is still touching your life.
Please let us know how Muffin does. Take a deep breath, and I am sure all will be ok.
