My daughter has a neutered male lovely cat. He was a stray, so she took him in and got him neutered, all shots etc. He is an indoor cat and is living the good life. He is very laid back.
But he does not clean up after using his box. He smells of urine and feces. She has clipped him back there, but he does not due the very basics of grooming.
Is this something he never learned from mom? We thought is was instinct. Except for this, he is a doll. But giving him a bath every other day is getting tiresome.
Any thoughts? Thanks

Can she just do some wet cloth washups 2-3 times a day to cut down on full bathes? How old is he (rough guess)?
