My Courageous little Girl lost her fight

My Princess Missy suddenly got in such pain and Vet could not see why. She was on pain killers and I gave her even more than I was supposed to but nothing took her pain away. I took her to the Vet this morning and let her go.

NOW I find she has already been cremated and I NEED to know there is a God and a heaven or SOMEPLACE where she is happy and healthy and playing with other cats. I am in such agony. I have lost others before but Missy and I had a routein where I would syringe feed her at certain times, medicate her other times and give her the fluids still later.

I am still on her time schedule and I keep feelign I need to go feed her and then I remember she is gone. We bonded so much with the syinge feedind and I got so when she deliberately spit food out I would laugh and kiss her dear little mouth.

I miss her so much and I am just lost! HOW can I know she is not just a pile of ashes but up somewhere happy?

Even my Vet said she was a truly amazing cat!

I am so very sorry to hear of the loss of Princess Missy. I have lost so many also, and I know how you just feel lost.

She knew you loved her. What more than that can you ask. You are as close in spirit as you were all those years. Death is just a change of location. The love does not die. That is what bridges the gap left in our hearts.

God Bless you and Princess Missy. You have an kitty waiting for you at the Bridge.

Bella and me send you our love and sympathy. It hurts so much to let them go. It is the downside to our love for them. Missy is in a place that is warm and happy and she is pain free. You will hold her again. Love is too powerful and our spirits are too strong to end at death. I know the grief is devastating. She knew you loved her. You gave her the best life she could ever have with anyone else. I have been lucky enough to see some of my cats in dreams and that has given me peace. I pray you find peace during this hard time.

Very sorry for your loss...I know exactly how you feel and can tell you that, with time, you will once again adapt to a life without your world revolving around her.

Rest in peace, Missy.

Sweetie I am so sorry. The pain of losing one of our babies is at times unbareable, I know. She IS no longer in pain. You did the right thing.

I am so sorry for your loss of your Beloved Missy. I believe with all my heart that we will be united with our beloved pets when it is our time to go.

I choose general cremation for my cats, too. I have no where to bury them, where I may have to leave them some day, and I'm not one to want their ashes. Once their souls leave their little bodies, the body is a shell, and I can let that go.

You are still in shock, it takes time to process such a loss. I too recently lost a cat who, for her last three years, I had arranged my entire life around her care. It took many months for me to stop that.

I continued to wake up at 3 a.m. and 6 a.m. to feed her. I continued to mentally work my day around her sub q fluid needs, so on and so forth. It's only been the past couple of months that I have stopped doing that.

I know how much pain you are in, it is agony, saying good bye. I am crying with you. Many hugs.

Your little girl is safe and well, and playing happily across the bridge with all of the TCS cats and kittens that have crossed Keep talking to her because she will be watching over you

Have a look at the Rainbow Bridge video. It's very moving, but will explain that your little girl is happy and healthy again

I'm so sorry for your loss - but please remember that you acted from love to release her from pain. She's with you in spirit, in memory, and in the love you have for her. Her spirit will be waiting for yours.

RIP Missy.

Whether you are a religious person or not, you cannot deny that her spirit is still alive as long as you remember the good times you had with her. Then you can believe that she is watching over you from kitty heaven.
