My plans for Wrinkles and Cleo

Cleo has been acting better when I take her as a exhibition but I am not ready to show her again yet.
I think I will be able to show her in the future but will not rush to show her.
Wrinkles is doing terrible at all the CFA shows and am about to stop showing her there.
She can not even final when she is the only sphynx kitten there.
In TCA she has got 4 best of breed against another kitten but she has never finaled either.
Cleo finaled in every show she was in except the kitten show.
She beats other sphynx.
Alot of these judges are the same ones that love Cleo.
I took Cleo as a exhibition at the last show we went to and it was all about Cleo even though I was showing Wrinkles.
I have been offered a few sphynx by some breeders but I turned them down because some of the breeders do not scan.
I only want a sphynx from someone I trust.

So your plans are to stop showing both and getting a third one? Is there anything you can do help with Cleo's Behavior at Shows? I mean, if she does so well at exhibit, and also at shows as far at results, maybe there is something that can be done?

I am getting a third sphynx no matter what happens with Cleo and Wrinkles.
It has nothing to do with them.
Cleo will be shown again in the future.
I have been doing what her breeder told me to do.
I am going to talk to Jay about Wrinkles when I show her in Monterey in 2 weeks.
I might just show Wrinkles in TICA but I will only do shows that are within a few hours of here.

To be honest - there is nothing you can do if a cat is unhappy in the show rings. In my experience they don't come right after a few months, years or whatever. Best just to leave them at home and not stress them out.

Also remember that just because Wrinkles is the onky sphynx doesn't necessarily mean a final - There can be 10 beautiful Birmans in a breed group and 1 ordinary Persian in its group and even if the Persian is BOB the 10 Birmans 1st through to 10th can still beat it

That is true - but usually you have a good chance if the cat is in good condition, etc. for getting in the finals as a BOB. The worse I've seen (and been in the show when it happened) is when the judge put up 6 Burmese in the top 10 cats!

I know cats do not final because they are the only one of that breed at the shows.
These are the same judges that love Cleo so Wrinkles is not good enough.
She has been in 5 CFA shows and 2 TICA shows and has never finaled in any of the shows.
Cleo finaled in every show she was in except her only kitten show.
Wrinkles has got best of breeds in both TICA shows against other cats.
I really do not expect anything this weekend.
Wrinkles was sold to me as show quality.
Her breeder has kittens right now but I do not want any of them because the same thing would happen.
She has a odd eyed stud she thought was great for showing until other breeders told her he would not do well at all.
He is Wrinkles brother.
I will meet Wrinkles breeder when I show in Arcadia which might be in June since Ramses will be here then.
She has never been to a TICA show
I did tell her she should not show kittens as show quality when she does not show and only has been to 2 CFA shows.
Wrinkles fur on her tail is very curly like a Rex but there is no Devon Rex in her ped to the 6th gen.
I wonder if there was way back in her lines.
It used to be allowed in CFA and still is in TICA.
Half the hair has fallen out.
I only want a sphynx from breeders I trust.
It is so hard to know who to trust.
I was hoping for a sphynx by the march TICA show.
I know there are no guarantees a kitten will win.
I do want a kitten or cat that has a chance of doing ok.
I do not mind getting a older kitten.
Even one that has been shown is ok.
I will see what Jay has to say about Wrinkles the weekend of Feb 27th.

I hope in your plans you have included taking more pictures! I love seeing their photos!! Good luck in their shows, I am glad to hear Cleo is coming along. I know they are both winners in your book regardless on how they do in the shows. Hopefully Cleo's breeder will have another kitten or young adult for you.

I said this awhile ago and got a negative response, but do believe it still. It is best if you are serious about showing or want a pet that closely resembles the breed desired to go with breeders who show and title their breeding cats.

Of course I will take pics and I will uploaded them to my fb from my cell.
My other computer I use to upload the pics from the camera is corrupted and will not do anything.
I do not know how to upload the pics to the mac from the camera though.
I am benching with my friend at the CFA show on sat.
I have tried to get Wrinkles breeder to show but she does not want to.
