Review - the canine version of Feliway

If anyone is interested in the dog version of Feliway (D.A.P. Dog Appeasing Pheromone), here is my experience:

The dog is a very barky (and blind) Min Pin with anxiety issues. He has been wearing the D.A.P. collar for at least a week now, and there has been very little decrease in the barking. The dog doesn't seem any more relaxed or at ease. So, not satisfied with the product. I don't know if the D.A.P. diffuser might work better than the collar, but I would not recommend the collar. (Of course, this dog's breed and blindness already make him more prone to barking...such may not be the case with your dog.)

I can't say I'm surprised - I haven't had good experience with the Feliway either, and it isn't even supposed to work with all cats. I think it's a matter of the individual animal as to whether it is effective or not.
