Hi, Lucky here!
There was this weird white, cold (brrrr) stuff falling from the skies non stop yesterday, and for some reason meowmy thought we would love to play in it... (I know, humans, right?)
Well, Hope, since her traumatizing feral days, never went out again, so once the door open, she hid.
Brother Bugsy did venture out after a loooooonnnnngggg time standing on the door with meowmy calling... and calling and calling... Once I saw that the white stuff didn't do any harm to him, I went there to check it out... But really... it is pretty, but not thanks! I hope we don't catch the fleas, because meowmy forgot to put the medicine on us! Can you guys believe meowmy! Oh well, she thinks they are all frozen! We sure hope so!

Anyways, here are some pictures, and the videos...
One of the videos is too long, sorry about that

First, our building's garden:

Now us... deciding if we should stay in, or go out.... We stood on the door for a looooong time!

Now the videos

Kittie' First Snow

Lucky and her quick encounter with the snow

PS: Note how Bugsy's mane is so stained from his medication...
He used to be soooooo clean!! Hopefully it will go away soon....

Well, I think the cats were less than thrilled... how about Meowmy?

Regardless - Bugs has such a lovely fur coat on him that he must not have felt the cold.

And yes you are right - he is a BIG boy!!!! But gorgeous!

It was so funny... For the first time they were really afraid of going out... I stayed outside freezing my butt off calling and calling and calling... until that Bugsy went to check it out... He had that face of not really understanding what was going on...
And yes, he is HUGE
. Everything about him is BIG - his fur is very long too! His mane... OMG! LOOOONNNGGG!
He is definitely not a frail little kitty
. What is scary is that he is still growing - he is going to be three in may, and Ragdolls grow until they are four... I just hope he grows into his weight!

Bugsy seems to have liked the snow, and he blends right in! He's a handsome cat, regardless of the medication stains. I hope he feels better soon.

As for Lucky, well, she didn't seem so thrilled. She's beautiful, though.

Gosh, that courtyard is SO cool! I'd love to have something like that where I wouldn't have to worry if my girls went exploring outside!

They look less than enthused by the snow. I expected Bugsy to shake his paw when he touched it! Lucky reminds me of my timid little Maggie...the same type of long-but-not-long fur and exquisitely bushy tail. Cute videos!

They do LOVE the courtyard, and I used to take them outside all the time with me... It is really great - they stay only in the central area, and if anything startles them, they go right inside (like you saw in the video)...
I did stop taking them out because they started begging to go out ALL the time... But I am considering starting taking them out again coming Spring... Now it is definitely too cold. We will see. They love it, that is for sure.
