No ultrasound though! Insurance only pays for one during the pregnancy! I haven't had my blood taken in like, five years, but I'm pretty sure this girl was incredibly rough. It hurt! They took like, five tubes. And she wasn't friendly at all! She wasn't rude at all, but I just think someone in that field should be friendly and caring, don't you?? Since it was an exam, I didn't meet my doctor, just the nurse practioner person, and she was really nice. Everyone seemed nice except the girl that took my blood.

Yes, I guess she said, one ultrasound, unless there's a problem. We are going to do the 3D baby sonogram thing though at some point, but that's out of our pocket.

Wow, I never even thought about going through a whole pregnancy with only one ultrasound...
But then... What do I know? I never been pregnant, and considering I am 35... chances are...

Just seems so weird... Hummmmm.....

No, I thought it was weird too. I thought they were routine and you got a lot of them.

The norm over here is two one at 12 and one at 20 weeks. I have heard that they were changing it to one to cut costs, disgusting isn't it. x

Sorry it was painful to have your blood taken; ms vampire might have been having an off day. Or maybe she is not wanting to draw blood from people for a living. Who really knows?

I bet you are looking forward to the ultrasound.

Well congrats hun!
I absolutely agree that all doctors and nurses should have a certain bedside manner. Unfortunately it's NOT the case. My Mom, BEING a nurse tells me a whole lot of horror stories.
