I passed my oral board and my written board!!!!!!
As of today, I'm officially finished with the first part of my respiratory therapy program!!!
I have a break for a little while and then I go back to class on the 22nd and start clinicals on the 23rd!!! I can't believe I did it
I'm soo happy though, I keep telling myself that I'm one step closer to my dream job!
I just had to share a little bit of good news with eveyone! Thankyou to everyone who has been soo kind and supportive of me going back to school!
I've still got a good bit of school left. After I finish the current program i'm in, I'll go back for the advance program to specialize in neonatal/pediactric & cardiovascular respiratory therapy. After that if I'm up to it, I'm thinking about doing some more school and possibly going into neonatal pulmonology (we'll see though). I'm soo excited!
Jack's taking me out to a late dinner tonight to celebrate!
In a side note, I didn't get the hospital that I wanted (they went by location instead of going by our requests
) but I did get the night shift I wanted and I'll be working with one of my really good friends, so that's awesome!
