Not any of my babies, because both of my cats are only 3 years old! I hope they live for as long as a cat can possibly live, though. So, how old are our oldest TCS cats?!

My kitty who passed away to the fight of diabetes was 20 years old. He was born in April of 1989. He was older than I was!!! He recently passed and it was like losing a sibling

Would love to know of a kitty living to be much older =)

Well, I know it's not my bunch. I've had kitties in their teens, and one lived to over 21, but at the moment I have two almost 9-year-olds (May 8).

There are plenty of kitties in their teens on the site.

My mums cat is 23 and still going strong, she has a benign growth on her lip which is kept under observation by the vet but apart from that she is fab, her name is Boo

She's a fab cat that had a real bad start in life. My mum has got nearly all her cats from shelters and doesn't agree with pet shop buying but my dad walked past a pet shop on halloween 23 years ago on his way home from work and saw this tiny black cat in the window (there are hardly any pet shops here that sell cats and dogs anymore-thank god), he thought she looked really small and not well so he bought her, took her home to my mum and she adored her, on a visit to the vets the next day the vet said she was only 6 weeks old and needed special care, she was full of worms and fleas. Mum reported the pet shop and nursed little Boo to good health, she is still a tiny cat but is the toughest out of all her cats bless her. I love her to bits and she has such cattitude.Oh and she is completely deaf but seems to know when food is being dished out downstairs but she is upstairs lol but doesn't hear the hoover anymore xx

Attitude and Nuts are 8 months so we're nowhere near there. Maude was around 10 when she crossed so even she was nowhere close.

My Siamie is about 22 years old. She's very pretty...I wish I could post a picture of her. She is a color point DLH with blue eyes. She has arthritis and renal disease, but still gets around well. The vet says her lab values are not that bad, as far as the renal disease is concerned.

My current oldest will be 17 in June.

My oldest was 18 when he passed away in 2004 from cancer.

My second oldest will be 11 in July! She is a fatty and loafs around all day. She has kitty exzema and has a steroid shot every 4-6 months and LOVES her life as a loaf of bread! LOL

Off-topic: Ruthyb, I love that picture of Billy in your sig. It's like he's so sweet lying there, but at the same time you can see those fangs sticking out saying "don't mess with me"...

My oldest kitties, Shadey and Imhotep, will only be 8 next month, so none of mine are too old, but I have issues with thinking of them as seniors.

Aw, look at her! She looks good! You are right, she looks strong! I think she is our winner here, anybody beats 23 years old?
I am glad to see many cats made it to 20 or close, I can hope I still have plenty of time left with my girls (but never enough, right?).

Thanks, I shall get some more pics of boo off my mum, I have told her to join here but I am not sure if she will, I know she would love it here, I will email her an invite
My mum is cat mad and her she even makes voices up for her cats and she talks to them (ok,now who thinks she is mad?-I have got used to it and I think its great, her kitties are individual) and thanks for the comments of Billy, he is a grumpy kitty but has gorgeous fangs, he has alot of teeth missing due to previous mistreatment (before I had him) but he loves to show off his remaining best assets

My oldest cat, Speedboat, 14 was put to sleep January 25. Congratulations to all of you with cats above 15. You are very special cat owners.
