I'm sorry that you and your baby are going through this.
Have you discussed other options with your vet? Perhaps other treatments that WOULD be covered? What is the likelyhood that the acupuncture would actually work? You obviously love your baby very much, and I'll be sending vibes and hoping that everything works out for the best.

Hugs to you and prayers for your cat. I hope you can work out something with your vet. I understand having to draw the line financially too. Keep us posted.

let me put it in savings

Gigi - conventional vet said needed ear and knee surgerys to the tune of
1400-2000 for the knee
1600-2000 for the ears....

I did accupucture with her and got great results total cost with supplements 1000$.... so just that saved me a minimum of 2000$

Kandie spent about 600-1000 on CRF and jt accupucture with supplements over roughly two years... reg treatments would have been about 150 a month .. roughly a 3000$ savings and she was much more comfortable

Talk about payment arrangements as most accupucture is 6-8 visits then only as needed

Discuss also accupressure which you can be taught to do and diet changes that would help and not be as big a $$ strain
