When I worked at my old job 2 patients got together and bought the ward a Tassimo Machine. It was kind of cool. However, once the included coffees ran out, if we wanted coffee from that machine we had to buy our own coffee. I'm not talking in a group, because that certainly wouldn't have worked because there were some who used it several times a day/night, while others might have used it for a cup, 2 or 3 times per week. And each Tassimo coffee disk gives one cup of coffee.

Anyway, I'm back to using my regular coffee maker so that I can take decalf to work with me in the morning and I have a few boxes of these Tassimo style disks. No gourmet coffee, just plain caffeinated.

However, I'm not using it and I have no plans on buying a Tassimo coffee maker. So if anyone wants these coffee disks, I would be pleased to send them to you.

Just send me your snail mail address and I'll get them mailed out to you.

So this doesn't violate any "personal thanks in the forum rule" if you are interested, please just acknowledge via PM and when I have someone who wants them I'll just announce that they're gone in this thread. No names mention.

I have never heard of those machines - they sound perfect for me because I am the only one who drinks coffee at home!!! Are they a new thing or have they been around for a while? I think I need to do some looking around here.

Thanks for the replies. They're off the market now. I'll be shipping them out this week. Enjoy!

I had a few inquiries about what a "Tassimo Disk" is. Here is a picture

Unfortunately they only fit an actual "Tassimo" machine. At least until their patent runs out I guess when people can create knockoffs.

I had never heard of the Tassimo coffee makers either until someone mentioned it on here. I do use the Keurig one cup coffee maker and love it. You can use your own coffee so you choose the brand you want. They also have what they call K-cups which are pre-measured cups that you insert into the coffee maker and walla, you have a great cup of coffee. I use mine every single morning.

I haven't seen that particular brand, but I got a Keurig brand coffee maker for my birthday last year. It looks like it works pretty similar. I have the Keurig Platinum. I LOVE it!! I use it every single morning. I love that I don't have to measure coffee, and every cup tastes the same as the last. No more burnt or too strong coffee. What's even better, is that they sell the k-cups at our neighborhood grocery store, and we get Caribou coffee, hot chocolate, and mint tea and we keep them in a k-cup carousel. http://www.keurig.com/accessories.as...HV8EWRVQNH72A5

I have the Keurig, too. My favorites are Caribou Blends, Timothy's Italian Blend, all the Kona blends, and I love Tully's French Roast. Newman's Extra Bold is good, but I find that Emeril's Extra Bold is just a wee bit too strong for me. I like the Sumatra, too. The Nantucket Blend by Green Mountain is pretty good.

We don't go through the mail; for us, it was a little expensive. There's a Bed, Bath, and Beyond in town and I can use their 20% coupons to get the coffee cheaper and it's not out of my way to go there. We have a Keurig in our department at work now, too, and we all take turns buying the different coffees. Good stuff.

I have the carousel on the counter next to the unit.

I do actually prefer the Keurig as there seem to be more flavours, but we are too cheap to buy these machines ourselves.

We got our Tassimo for our wedding!
It was maybe the best gift we got because we are both big coffee drinkers but would never spend the money for a fancy machine on our own.

I may have to order from the site because Bed Bath and Beyond did not have the flavors I wanted today except the Dark Hot Chocolate.
The Chai Tea is Good also.
I need to try some other flavors though.
