This is my mom's cat Samantha that she had when she was pg with me back in 1974 and I (I was about 2 in this pic)

This is... you guessed it, my baby ShadeyLadi and I this last summer!

This is my girl and I cuddling. She was awake but not ready to get out of bed, LOL

My mom's cat Samantha was pg when my mom was pg. My mom had me before Sam had her kittens. One was mentally handicapped, and eventually passed away. My mom told me that kitten's back legs went faster then its front and it always ended up with its back end going over the front. She said that kitten always seemed dizzy. My mom was sad when it passed away though.

Sam was a great mom. She brought me dead mice and spiders and bugs, and birds to feed me
She cleaned me and slept in my crib with me. She also taught me how to crawl. I don't know how long Sam was around after I was born, I think at least until I was 3. Sam would let me carry her around the house no matter how uncomfortable she was in my arms. She would let me be me and love her how ever I wanted. She loved me like I was one of her kittens. There were more pics of me n Sam but someone destroyed them because they didn't care.
There is one more pic I know of floating around somewhere that I need to scan of us two. This one is the cutest though!
I've never had a siamese besides Sam.

I am a cat lover from birth, and I don't see that changing. I even thought I was a cat for a while!

Be safe.

This was probably cerebellar hypoplasia. CH. Look it up. I think your mother would recognize it.

Unfortunately my mom passed away 9.12.01 about 17 hours after the towers fell. But I will bet you are right. If I remember correctly, it was a little grey kitten. My mom loved it, and wanted so bad to save it, but the creator wanted that little soul back.

@ Luvmy10 My mom worried about me getting sick or diseased from it, but I see nothing but love when I think about it. I understand she was just caring for me, but I also understand how nasty it had to be for my mom to find those dead things in my crib with me! lol

Yeah I have been a cat lover from day 1 (or day what ever when I got home from the hospital) I didn't have another cat until I was 4ish Smokey and Spotty brothers., then I had one at 5 SniddleDiddles (I called her Snoodlenoodles though) who was pg and had kittens. We gave her away because we coudln't take care of her and the babies. Then I never had another cat until Mystyc. (she's turning 12 July 30th this year). Between SniddleDiddles and Mystyc I had a pomeranian, 4 Rats 2 mice, and 6 ferrets!
I always loved cats though.

...

Awww
I looked it up, and it broke my heart (having a sensative day here). There is a video or two or a few on youtube of kittens with this. That's so sad
I didn't watch the videos because I am sure I would have cried. I did read about it though, and it sounds very similar to what I remember my mom describing. That's so sad. I think I am glad the kitten passed away, I think it would tear my heart out to see a kitten with this IRL. Thank you for the info, I understand better, and I am glad to see that animals with it can life a normal length life. I am also glad to read that there are pages that help people to deal with mentaly handycapped animals. I never thought about all that.

Be safe.
